Event Sales Specialist
Description:
• As an Event Sales Specialist, you will drive new business development
• Nurture strategic partnerships
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to acquire world-class events.
• Report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with management to achieve company goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Event Sales specializing in events management.
• Experience in hunting, identifying, negotiating, and closing business deals.
• Strong interpersonal, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of professionals.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, plans, and budgets.
• Knowledge of the events industry and proven success in achieving targets and driving business growth.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Salesforce / Hub Spot or similar customer relationship management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable in multiple languages is a plus.
• Must be currently based in the USA and have the necessary non-company sponsored permit to work in the USA.
• Comfortable using MS Teams / Zoom to discuss project matters with the wider team across Asia.
• Familiar with virtual events.
