Summary
Our client, a leading orthopedic practice, is hiring full-time Medical Records Reviewers to support their growing team. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Florida, New York or New Jersey. The role is best suited for someone who is deadline-driven, highly detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, structured work environment. You’ll spend most of your day reviewing medical records and building clear, accurate documentation from templates—ideal for those with medical, billing, or insurance documentation experience.
Salary
$25.00–$30.00/hour + bonuses + benefits
Job Responsibilities
You’ll review and summarize medical documents for workers’ compensation and disability cases, using structured templates.
You’ll extract data from records such as orthopedic notes, imaging reports, and patient history—focusing on accuracy, speed, and formatting.
You’ll ensure that documents meet compliance and quality standards before submission.
You’ll operate independently in a high-volume environment that requires concentration and consistent output.
You’ll revise documents based on detailed feedback.
Overtime may be required to meet volume expectations (20–25+ documents/day).

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or paralegal certification. Experience in Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury law is required. Experience reviewing official disability guidelines, MTGs, and state-specific Workers’ Compensation treatment plans. A strong understanding of orthopedic medical terminology is required. You must be able to research and interpret policy, treatment guidelines, and disability frameworks. Strong writing, grammar, and document formatting skills are required. Strong analytical and policy research skills are critical.
