Remote Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online + Zoho Expertise)
We’re a growing consulting and technology firm based in Asheville, NC, supporting clients with efficient, modern operations. As we expand, we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial records and processes across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books
- Record and reconcile expenses in Zoho Expense
- Generate and track invoices through Zoho Invoicing
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate general ledger and chart of accounts
- Collaborate with our operations and finance team to improve workflows
- Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and Zoho Invoicing
- Strong understanding of standard accounting principles
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
- Available to work within a ±6-hour window of Asheville, NC (Eastern Time)
Nice to Have (Optional):
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or businesses
- Familiarity with project-based billing or consulting environments
- Availability for occasional Zoom calls or Slack communication during EST business hours
