About This Role

Wells Fargo is looking for experienced customer service professionals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives in Customer Support Payments Operations, a part of our Chief Operating Office Operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience, and working collaboratively with our customer support team to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial products and services, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer service experience and provide suggestions to improve internal and external customer problems
  • Perform moderately complex customer service tasks, including resolving customer complaints and issues
  • Receive guidance from customer support managers and escalate non-recurring questions to ensure prompt resolution
  • Interact with the customer support team on complex customer problems, collaborating to find solutions and provide excellent customer service
  • Provide training on regulations and procedures, and offer guidance to less experienced individuals, as well as internal and external clients

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service, financial services, or contact center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, education, military experience, or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to listen actively and elicit information from customers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to navigate multiple PC systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Ability to troubleshoot common computer problems
  • Knowledge and understanding of domestic and international wire transfers processing
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services or call center environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer support while listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving complex customer problems
  • Customer service awareness with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Ability to follow regulations, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to handle a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Bilingual speaking skills in Spanish/English
