The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented professional for the role of Logistics and Demand Planning Manager to join our Merchandising department. This position reports to the VP, Merchandising and will oversee end-to-end inventory movement and fulfilment operations for the league's merchandise business, spanning ecommerce and live event channels. This role manages relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) in the U.S. and Canada and coordinates with venue and event operations personnel to ensure merchandise availability across various sites. The Logistics and Demand Planning Manager is also responsible for inventory replenishment flows, stock integrity, and providing demand planning support to inform purchasing and allocation strategies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage performance of 3PLs responsible for ecommerce order fulfillment, returns processing, and inventory storage • Monitor KPIs including order accuracy, on-time shipping, stock reconciliation, and customer escalations • Coordinate inbound inventory receipts, returns, and adjustments in collaboration with merchandise planning and ecommerce teams • Partner with the Merchandise Operations Manager and venue operations personnel to track stock levels at locations with on-site merchandise storage • Coordinate and execute replenishment plans based on sales, forecasted demand, and event schedules • Ensure timely inventory transfers from 3PLs to venue storage locations and accurate documentation of movements • Manage logistics with a specialized event-based warehouse partner (e.g., mobile staging warehouse or event logistics depot) that receives, stores, and ships merchandise for events at venues without on-site storage • Plan inventory transfers from 3PLs to event warehouse before events, and from event warehouse back after the event • Help ensure accuracy in inventory packing, manifests, and reconciliation following each event via processes and coordination with Merchandise Operations Manager • Monitor and report inventory levels across e-commerce, venue, and event channels to anticipate replenishment needs • Support demand forecasting based on event schedules, sales trends, and historical data • Advise planning and procurement on reorder timing and allocation of product to channels • Serve as the logistics point of contact across merchandising, ecommerce, and operations teams • Maintain accurate inventory reporting and support variance resolution across systems • Contribute to logistics and standard operating procedures development and continuous improvement of fulfillment processes QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or similar • 4–6 years’ experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations • Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and ecommerce fulfillment workflows • Understanding of multi-channel retail environments, including physical venues and ecommerce • Familiarity with event logistics and mobile/temporary warehousing is a strong asset • Strong project management, communication, and data reconciliation skills • Experience in apparel or consumer products preferred • Ability to operate effectively in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative setting SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Strong ability to take initiative • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment • Excellent time-management and communication skills • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required • Candidate must be able to work remotely COMPENSATION: Annual Salary: The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $70,000 USD / $78,000-$84,000 CAD. Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
