About the Role

We are seeking dependable, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join our team in various areas, including Sales, Print Shop Technology, Loss Prevention, and Textbooks. As a Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers, demonstrating active selling techniques and providing product information and guidance to ensure a high-quality customer experience
  • Maintain the appearance of the sales floor, set up seasonal promotions and visual displays, and regularly monitor assigned areas for product restocking and recovery
  • Operate cash registers, assist customers with check-out, and execute appropriate cash handling procedures
  • Support inventory and order fulfillment by receiving and processing incoming merchandise, assisting with special orders, and handling store-to-store shipping requests
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support the digital and in-store shopping experience

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Moderate computer/systems competency, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed are also required. Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required. We value individuals who are dependable, motivated, and enjoy working with the public.
