The Position Jean-Louis Law, a virtual business & entertainment law firm, is seeking a highly organized and efficient virtual assistant and paralegal to support its legal team in day-to-day administrative, legal, and business development tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and a problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills, a desire to understand... trademark and contract law, strong research skills. The successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple responsibilities in a virtual work environment. This is a fully remote position. Responsibilities and Duties, include but not limited to:  Provide administrative support to the team remotely  Perform clerical tasks such as organizing electronic files, managing emails, and scheduling appointments  Utilize electronic document management systems to maintain and update important files and documents  Assist with project management tasks, including coordinating deadlines and tracking progress  Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of information  Interact daily with prospective clients, current clients, and attorneys via electronic means  Manage prospective client intake process (including onboarding)  Proofread documents for errors and ensure they adhere to company standards  Conduct online research for legal and general information  Communicate with current clients about matters and billing  Assist firm's marketing activities, including social media management  Create copy for and scheduling of posts on firm's social media platforms  Manage firm's social media platforms, including responding to mentions and comments on firm's social media platforms, responding in a timely manner  Assist in preparing and filing trademark applications with the USPTO and other authorities  Maintain firm's trademark docket  Proofread and format legal documents (ex. contracts)  Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines  Provide support to firm in various administrative tasks and legal matters as needed Requirements  Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role  Proficient in using Dropbox and other document management systems  Excellent organizational, problem solving, and time management skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  In cover letter, state who is your favorite actor  Familiarity with project management tools and techniques  Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively  Knowledge of trademark process is a plus  Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual setting  Strong ability to think critically and meet deadlines  Must be resident of New York State To Apply To apply, submit a cover letter, resume and list of at least 2 references Apply Job!Â
